Release Notes 3-May-2002
The three modules have all been updated with the following amendments, with effect from 3-May-2002. Amendments to MYRLIN#1 and #2 have no functional effect, but only provide version number information. The MYRLIN#3 update is however recommended for immediate download. See How to install upgrades.

Three bugs have been fixed: (1) Initialisation of the species list. On previous versions, the links between species and growth and mortality rates would be muddled if the species list Models sheet was sorted between runs. (2) Small changes in tree numbers when recruitment factor (Models sheet, cell B7) is exactly 1. Tree numbers will now remain exactly constant if recruitment factor is unity. (3) Small changes in predictions with successive runs, converging to a stable result. This problem was caused by non-initialization of a variable that recorded intensity of last harvest. In addition, version number now appears in the Excel status bar when the macro is run. |
